This agreement sets out how we’ll work together — clearly, professionally, and with mutual respect. It formalises your role as a self-employed service provider with Guesture Cleaning Services and outlines the standards, expectations, and protections that guide our collaboration.

CONTRACTOR:


BACKGROUND



In consideration of the mutual benefits and obligations set forth in this Agreement, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Client and the Contractor (individually the “Party”, collectively the “Parties”) agree as follows:


SERVICES PROVIDED



The Client believes the Contractor has the necessary qualifications and abilities to provide cleaning services to Guesture Cleaning Services and agrees to engage the Contractor under the terms of this Agreement.


Scope of Services includes:


  • Clean and sanitize properties to Guesture’s standards

  • Empty bins, change bedding, stage and prepare for guest arrivals

  • Follow specific cleaning instructions and checklists

  • Be on call with less than 12 hours’ notice when required



Service locations:

At any properties managed by Guesture Cleaning Services.


Agreed rate:

Flat rate of £13 per hour or a fixed fee per property, agreed separately.


Service timing:

Primarily between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, completed before guest check-in unless otherwise agreed.


TERM OF AGREEMENT



  • This Agreement will remain in effect until terminated by either party with 31 days’ written notice.

  • Immediate termination applies in case of material breach.

  • Mutual termination may occur at any time in writing.

  • Contractor obligations end upon termination except for any outstanding responsibilities.



PERFORMANCE



Both parties agree to take all necessary steps to fulfil the terms of this Agreement.


CURRENCY



All amounts are in GBP.


PAYMENT



  • Contractor will be paid a flat rate or agreed fee per service.

  • Invoices are due within 30 days.

  • In case of early termination, a pro-rata amount will be paid.

  • Contractor is solely responsible for their own tax and NI contributions.

  • Contractor is responsible for any staff or subcontractor payments.



EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT



Only guest amenity restocks are reimbursable (e.g. toiletries). All cleaning product costs are the Contractor’s responsibility. Exceptions require prior written approval.


LATE PAYMENT



Late payments incur a 10% monthly interest on outstanding balances.


CONFIDENTIALITY



The Contractor agrees not to disclose or use any confidential business information related to Guesture Cleaning Services.


RETURN OF PROPERTY



Upon termination, the Contractor must return any equipment, keys, or documents.


  • No unauthorised products may be left in guest-accessible areas.

  • All equipment must be removed at the end of each job.

  • Non-compliance may result in financial penalties and/or contract termination.



CONTRACTOR STATUS



The Contractor is an independent service provider, not an employee of Guesture Cleaning Services. This Agreement does not constitute a partnership or joint venture


NOTICE



A minimum of 4 weeks’ notice must be given by the Contractor when ending service.

INDEMNIFICATION & CONDUCT



  • Contractor must ensure all properties are fully ready for guest arrivals.

  • Contractor may not engage with guests or owners beyond professional duties.

  • Exceptional service must be maintained at all times.

  • Cancellation with fewer than 7 days’ notice incurs a £100 fee.

  • Missed cleans are liable for rebooking or OTA compensation fees.

  • Checklists, video records, and reports must be submitted after every job.



DATA HANDLING (GDPR)



All submitted personal data will be securely stored and processed by Guesture Cleaning Services solely for legal, administrative, and operational purposes. No data will be shared externally without consent, unless required by law. You may request data removal in accordance with GDPR regulations at any time.


MODIFICATION



Any amendments must be agreed in writing and signed by both Parties.


TIME OF THE ESSENCE



Punctuality and performance deadlines are essential to this Agreement.


ASSIGNMENT



The Contractor may not assign this Agreement to another party without prior written consent.


ENTIRE AGREEMENT



This Agreement is the entire contract between the Client and Contractor.


ENUREMENT



This Agreement is binding on the Parties and their legal representatives.


INTERPRETATION



Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

Use of the singular or masculine includes the plural and feminine where applicable.


GOVERNING LAW



This Agreement is governed by the court of law of England andWales.


SEVERABILITY



If any part of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.


WAIVER



Failure by either party to enforce any provision does not waive future enforcement of that provision.
